Vintage Franklin Porcelain Bird Trinket Dish

A charming vintage Franklin Porcelain miniature dish from 1982, featuring a beautifully detailed pheasant-style bird surrounded by colourful flowers and foliage.

The piece is made from fine porcelain and finished with an intricate dark green patterned border and a delicate gold gilt rim.

The reverse bears the original FRANKLIN PORCELAIN – © 1982 FP – FINE PORCELAIN factory mark.

With its petite size and decorative bird motif, this vintage piece works beautifully as a small collector plate, ring dish, jewellery dish or cabinet display piece.

The centre features a colourful decorative bird with a large fan-shaped tail in shades of orange, brown, yellow and black.

The bird is surrounded by bright floral accents in purple, red, yellow, blue and green.

A striking dark green border frames the scene with a repeating scale-like pattern and white foliate details.

The outer edge is finished with a thin gold gilt rim, adding a refined vintage touch.

The overall design has a charming Asian-inspired decorative character while remaining unmistakably part of the 1980s Franklin Porcelain collectible style.

Franklin Porcelain was associated with Franklin Mint collectible porcelain production and became especially well known for decorative plates and miniature porcelain pieces during the late 20th century.
