About this piece

This is a vintage Mason’s Patent Ironstone coffee pot in the vibrant “Strathmore” pattern, made in England, circa 1940s–1950s. The pot features a charming hand-colored floral design in rich tones of blue, red, green, and yellow. It retains its original matching lid with beautifully painted finial. Stamped on the base with the iconic Mason’s crown mark, Reg. No. 836741, Pattern C4192. The pot stands approximately 20 cm (8 inches) tall and is about 15 cm (6 inches) wide from spout to handle. This piece showcases the time-honored artistry of Mason’s Ironstone, known for its durability and vibrant color retention.
